A not-green, fruity, dry cocktail with curaçao, brandy, and vermouth

This cocktail doesn’t turn out green at all, which makes me think that perhaps it’s named after the Green Room in the White House, but it’s anyone’s guess.

The oranginess hits you first, then fades away. It’s very smooth, both in terms of flavor and mouthfeel, and has a slight drying effect. It doesn’t taste very alcoholic, so be careful with this one!

 
1 part Brandy
2 parts French Vermouth
2 dashes Curaçao per cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 1 part brandy
  • 2 parts dry vermouth
  • 2 dashes orange curaçao per drink

Instructions:

  1. Fill a cocktail glass with ice water and set it aside to chill.
  2. Add some ice to a mixing glass. Add the brandy, vermouth, and curaçao. Stir.
  3. Dump the ice water out of the cocktail glass.
  4. Strain the cocktail into the glass. Serve it forth.
